This new world class facility provides space for manufacturing, administration as well as engineering for the Inspection Business of Bucher Emhart Glass. The Novaxion swab robot is installed on an existing AIS machine with FlexIS controls and swabs the blank molds and neck-rings. By using the auto swab cycle in the FlexIS controls the swab robot provides “swab on the fly” with respect to the blank molds. The successful installation has been possible by the close cooperation between Vetropack, Bucher Emhart Glass and swab robot supplier Novaxion.
