The Ware Transfer moves the containers from the machine conveyor to the cross conveyor. The transfer wheel has to cope with spacing variations and transfers the containers with consistent spacing. A smooth motion is essential to avoid damage or loss of any containers during the transfer. 178, 478, and the X-Transfer are driven with a servo motor controlled by the integrated FlexIS Ware Handling Controller WHC.
(As an option a configuration with a reluctance motor is available.)
